Marci Shore, the director of graduate studies for the European and Russian Studies Masters Program, interviewed Ukrainian novelist Volodymyr Rafeyenko, who was forced to flee Donetsk following the 2014 annexation and spent more than a month under Russian occupation near Kiev in February and March 2022.
